Description

Stock Sweepers Ltd is a leading UK manufacturer of truck-mounted road sweepers, based in Cinderford, Gloucestershire. We are seeking a detail-focused and organised individual to join our finance team as a Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Assistant. Your main responsibility will be to manage purchase ledger activities, including invoice processing and reconciliation, while also providing general finance admin support.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role is preferred, but not essential — full training will be provided
  • High level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Experience using accounting software is desirable
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
    Working Hours Monday to Friday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
    25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
    Salary to be discussed at Interview level.

Responsibilities
  • Process and review purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and apply correct nominal codes
  • Scan and file financial documents in our digital document management system
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team as required
