JOB SUMMARY

Adele Carr Recruitment are delighted to share an opportunity with a dealership based in Liverpool City Centre who are seeking a Purchase Ledger to join their team on an initial temporary bases (with view to be made permanent).
The ideal person would have previous experience within motor trade/dealership sector and would be capable dealing with multiple areas of an accounts department.

Responsibilities
  • Record all purchase transactions, including supplier invoices, credit notes, and adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier account details (e.g., contact information and payment terms).
  • Verify and process invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes for accuracy.
  • Record payments made to suppliers and allocate them to the correct invoices.
  • Monitor outstanding supplier balances and ensure payments are made within agreed terms.
  • Reconcile supplier statements with the purchase ledger to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Sales ledger tasks including allocation of cash and upkeep of ledgers
