Description:
Due to retirement, our exclusive client based in Bury are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team. This is a busy purchase ledger role reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
Duties include:
- Processing high volumes of purchase invoices and matching to purchase orders
- Setting up new suppliers
- Investigating and resolving queries relating to invoices or purchase orders
- Ensuring suppliers are paid on time and within agreed time scales
- Assisting with payment runs
- Inputting expenses onto the system ensuring accuracy at all times
- Assist with monthly financial reports
Purchase ledger experience is a must for this role though training will be given. You should be accurate, be a confident and professional communicator and be an excellent team player.
