Description:

Due to retirement, our exclusive client based in Bury are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team. This is a busy purchase ledger role reporting directly to the Financial Controller.

Duties include:

  • Processing high volumes of purchase invoices and matching to purchase orders
  • Setting up new suppliers
  • Investigating and resolving queries relating to invoices or purchase orders
  • Ensuring suppliers are paid on time and within agreed time scales
  • Assisting with payment runs
  • Inputting expenses onto the system ensuring accuracy at all times
  • Assist with monthly financial reports

Purchase ledger experience is a must for this role though training will be given. You should be accurate, be a confident and professional communicator and be an excellent team player.
