OVERVIEW

We are seeking a n experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining effective financial records. This role is crucial in supporting the accounts payable function and facilitating smooth financial operations within the organisation.

You will also be responsible for liaising with budget holders to raise purchase orders and maintain the purchase log.

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage or similar systems.
  • Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable processes and is beneficial.
  • Ability to analyse financial information effectively and provide insights as required.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with suppliers and internal teams effectively.

The role is varied and you will be part of a small office team based in an office on Stoneleigh Park (remote or hybrid working is not being offered for this role). location. Days and hours worked to be agreed.
