SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Previous experience in accounting of at least 2years
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office programs – Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with invoice processing systems and reconciliation procedures
    Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
    Contract length: 6 months
    Pay: £14.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 20 per week

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the finance team in the below;

  • Matching invoices to purchase orders/receipts
  • Coding, posting and filing overhead invoices
  • Handling supplies queries and responding promptly
  • Posting payments
  • Reconciling aged creditors monthly
  • Providing information, resolving internal and external queries.
  • Month-end purchase ledger procedures, statement reconciliations and analysis
  • Prepare supplier payment runs
  • Liaise and work closely with colleagues across the business.
  • Work with high levels of attention to detail.
  • Ad-Hoc support to the finance team.
