We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Accounts Team at our Ford Store in Bootle. The successful candidate will play a vital role in purchase ledger, ensuring accurate processing of invoices and payments while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyse financial data effectively.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role is desirable.
  • Experience using Pinnacle Dealer Management System is desirable.
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret financial data effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
Responsibilities
  • Process purchase invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain the purchase ledger, including reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to accounts payable, ensuring timely updates to financial records.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding invoice queries and payment issues, fostering positive relationships.
  • Assist in month-end closing processes by preparing relevant reports and reconciliations.
