Description

We are currently looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our ever-expanding company.
Phase Electrical Distributors Ltd is a leading independent electrical wholesaler with 7 branches across the South East and Kent. With over 20 years in the industry, we have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products and outstanding customer service to our clients. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a diligent and detail-focused Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our head office finance team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics would be an advantage, but not essential as full training would be given
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and outlook
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Ability to manage large volumes of paperwork
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Experience is preferred but not essential
Responsibilities
  • Check purchase orders against supplier invoices
  • Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Manually reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records
  • Respond to supplier and internal branch queries
  • Sorting post and internal mail
  • Raise invoice queries with our branches
  • Assist with month-end procedures and audits
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team
  • During busy periods, you may be required to assist inputting expense invoices on the system
