About Us Your Retreats Ltd is a leading manufacturer of luxury lodges, renowned for our craftsmanship, quality, and innovative designs. As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a reliable and experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our friendly, hard-working team. This is a part-time role (24 hours per week) with flexible working hours, based in our factory. We’re seeking someone who has already worked in a similar role, can work independently, and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records. The Role Reporting to our Finance Director, you’ll take ownership of the purchase ledger function, ensuring all supplier invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time. You’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Key Responsibilities: Accurately processing of purchase invoices and matching to purchase orders/delivery notes Managing supplier accounts and handling queries promptly and professionally Preparing supplier payment lists Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies Supporting bank reconciliations Supporting with other ad hoc finance tasks as required To thrive in this role, you should have: An AAT qualification or studying towards one. Strong Excel skills and proficiency in financial systems. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (desirable but not essential). The ability to work collaboratively in a growing team and adapt to evolving business needs. Experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role. Can work independently and manage their own workload. Is reliable, organised, and has strong attention to detail. Works efficiently and takes ownership of their tasks. Has good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
