Job Title: Purchase & Logistics Executive

Job Summary

The Purchase & Logistics Executive is responsible for ensuring the timely procurement of materials, efficient inventory control, and seamless coordination of domestic and international logistics operations. The role involves vendor management, import and export documentation, customs clearance coordination, shipment tracking, inventory monitoring, and compliance with government regulations to ensure uninterrupted business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Purchasing

• Source and procure raw materials, chemicals, packaging materials, spare parts, equipment, and other operational requirements.
• Obtain quotations from multiple suppliers and negotiate competitive prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure timely procurement to avoid production delays and stock shortages.
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors.
• Monitor supplier performance based on quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, sales, and finance departments regarding procurement requirements.

Inventory Management

• Monitor stock levels and maintain optimum inventory to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support regular stock verification and reconciliation.
