JOB OVERVIEW

A leading signage manufacturing company in Sharjah is seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to lead procurement operations. The role requires strong expertise in sourcing signage-specific materials such as ACP, acrylic, LEDs, flex, hardware, and other production components. The ideal candidate will have proven skills in negotiation, vendor management, and cost control, ensuring timely procurement to support smooth production and project delivery.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • 7–10 years of proven experience in procurement or purchase management, preferably in the signage or related manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of signage materials, suppliers, and production components.
  • Hands-on experience with vendor sourcing, supply chain operations, and cost analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and procurement/ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational and decision-making abilities with the capacity to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end procurement of signage materials (ACP, acrylic, vinyl, LEDs, steel, printing materials, hardware, etc.).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
  • Ensure timely sourcing and delivery of materials to prevent production delays.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and enforce quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate purchase records, contracts, and cost analysis reports.
  • Coordinate with design and production teams for technical material requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage reorder points to prevent shortages or overstock.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and import/export laws.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to track purchase budgets and payment terms.
