Description

Al Asayel Health & Safety FZE is seeking a motivated Purchase Officer cum Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage both procurement and basic accounting functions, ensuring smooth purchasing operations and accurate financial records.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (mandatory).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement procedures and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software (SAP B1 knowledge is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage time efficiently.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: Up to AED4,000.00 per month

Responsibilities

PURCHASING DUTIES:

  • Source and negotiate with suppliers for best pricing and terms.
  • Prepare purchase orders and follow up on delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to forecast procurement needs.
  • Maintain and update the approved vendor list.
  • Prepare daily and weekly purchase reports for management.

ACCOUNTING DUTIES:

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions in compliance with accounting principles.
  • Handle data entry, invoicing, and accounts receivable/payable.
  • Manage petty cash and basic bookkeeping.
  • Support monthly closing and financial reporting processes.
  • Assist the Senior Accountant with reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Coordinate with other departments for internal financial documentation.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of records.
