JOB OVERVIEW

As Vancouver’s largest plumbing, heating and air conditioning company continues to expand, we need to add more people to our award-winning team! We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Clerk to join our team. With more than 120 service trucks on the road, we field a large volume of calls every day from people all over the Lower Mainland that need our help with their plumbing, drainage, heating and air conditioning service.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in purchasing or supply chain management is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to talk to vendors and technicians over the phone and in person
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software tools.

  • Communicate and prepare Purchase Orders to give to technicians and vendors
  • Compare deliveries to orders and resolve any issues if necessary
  • Ensure all tools and parts are needed by technicians and are included in the system
  • Ensure invoices are correct before handing to AP team to make payment.
