We are Pall Mall!
Renowned and respected in the field of cosmetic and medical procedures.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Purchase Ledger and/or Sales Ledger Clerk to join our finance team. The successful candidate/s will play a crucial role in managing the purchase and sales ledgers, ensuring accuracy in data entry, and supporting the accounts payable process. This position requires strong analytical skills, resilience and familiarity with Sage 50 software. Good communication both verbally and written is essential for either role, as is the ability to form productive relationships with clients.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 2 years proven experience in a similar role within accounts payable or purchase ledger management including month-end processing and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
  • Work with Head of Finance on key projects as and when required.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
  • Analyse financial information to assist delivery of business targets
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding and dynamic environment.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: £25,000.00-£26,800.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Manage the purchase ledger/sales ledger by processing invoices and ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to suppliers.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies in a prompt manner.
  • Assist in analysing financial data to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Utilise accounting software for effective ledger management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to rectify any issues relating to Purchase Ledger or Sales Ledger.
  • Maintain organised records of all financial documents and correspondence.
