Role Description The Purchase Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day purchasing activities, including preparing and processing purchase orders, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials. The Purchase Specialist will coordinate with suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, track inventory needs, and support cost-effective procurement decisions. Daily tasks include monitoring stock levels, reviewing requisitions, verifying quality and compliance with company standards, and resolving any delivery or invoice discrepancies. The role also involves collaborating closely with operations, finance, and warehouse teams to ensure a reliable supply chain that supports ongoing restaurant operations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Purchasing Processes and Purchasing, with the ability to follow and improve procurement workflows.
• Experience in Purchase Management, including supplier coordination and basic negotiation.
• Hands-on experience creating, reviewing, and managing Purchase Orders with attention to accuracy and timing.
• Solid Analytical Skills to evaluate pricing, monitor consumption trends, and support cost optimization.
• Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics, ideally in food service, hospitality, or retail.
• Ability to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and proficiency with spreadsheets and ERP or purchasing systems.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
