Apple's Global Business Solutions (GBS) organization is looking for a highly motivated and capable Finance Manager 1 in the Employee Expense Management (EEM) team. This is a critical and high-impact role where you will lead the EEM Teams in support of Apple's global expense program. The role includes responsibilities for managing the global expense report process, China chop operations, and certain local China overseas service processes. DESCRIPTION As a key member of the EEM leadership team, this role will work closely across regions to support our continued strategic scaling initiatives such as cultivating strategic partnerships, driving excellence in operational delivery via process improvements and automation, and ensuring innovation is top of mind, while balancing 100% adherence to our financial and operational compliance standards. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or related field 5+ years of management experience in accounting/ finance Experience working in a fast-paced accounting environment with a focus on operational excellence, innovation and compliance Ability to problem solve and prioritize workload Proven ability to build effective business partnerships and influence across organizational levels Proficient in various systems and applications such as SAP financial solutions, business intelligence tools, and excel Proven written, verbal, and presentation fluency skills in both English and Chinese PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Able to exercise good judgment and discretion within Apple’s policies Proven experience in cultivating and developing strong teams and succession of future leaders Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic and ambiguous work environment Experience in defining, measuring and reporting operational metrics Detail oriented and exceptional organization skills
