Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated student for a Purchasing Internship position. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in critical learning experiences and contribute to essential purchasing functions. The intern will be responsible for: Reviewing and processing incoming Purchase Requisitions (PRs) with meticulous attention to detail Conducting comprehensive Best Price Calls to ensure optimal cost-effectiveness Implementing and maintaining a rigorous tracking system for pending PRs and POs Executing precise invoice clearing procedures Performing accurate Master Data Maintenance to ensure data integrity Providing crucial administrative support and assisting buyers with strategic sourcing initiatives Applying structured problem-solving methodologies and implementing sustainable solutions to enhance operational efficiency This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain invaluable experience in the purchasing field while contributing to the organization's success. Qualifications We are seeking a qualified candidate for our Purchasing Internship position. The ideal applicant should possess the following qualifications: Current enrollment in a degree program related to purchasing or supply chain management Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement sustainable solutions Proficiency in data analysis and advanced Excel skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Fluency in both English and French Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems Candidates who meet these qualifications and are interested in gaining hands-on experience in purchasing are encouraged to apply.
