We are seeking a dedicated Purchaser to be part of our team located in Colton, California. This role involves managing various purchasing activities in the manufacturing industry. It offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong negotiation skills and expertise in buying processes, Microsoft Excel, and Dynamics NAV.

• Oversee multiple orders to track and manage lead times effectively, ensuring smooth operations.
• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics and advanced Excel to maintain accurate records of purchases.
• Take initiative and demonstrate strong communication skills in liaising with suppliers and internal departments.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals without compromising on quality.
• Maintain a proactive approach in resolving issues related to purchasing and supply chain processes.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s buying processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with the Control Manager for reporting purposes and strategic decision making.
• Work independently as a solo purchasing/buyer, handling all related tasks with minimal supervision.
• Contribute to the overall revenue by implementing effective purchasing strategies.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices to continually improve purchasing activities.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a purchasing role
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Comprehensive understanding and experience in buying processes
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is a must
• Proficiency in using Dynamics NAV
• Ability to negotiate pricing effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have a problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with suppliers
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of ethical sourcing practices and vendor management.
