As an Operational Buyer (m/f/d), the following exciting tasks await you:
Operational Procurement Management:
You will primarily support our "Mechanics and System Components" purchasing group in their daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our procurement processes. This includes processing and tracking order confirmations in SAP, maintaining information records and order books, creating deliveries, and assisting with invoice corrections and quotation evaluations. Across all purchasing groups, monitoring delivery dates and actively following up on outstanding issues with our suppliers will also be part of your responsibilities. You will be comfortable using the phone or writing appropriate emails to move topics forward and find solutions together.
Data and System Maintenance:
You ensure that our purchasing and supplier data is always up-to-date and complete. This includes maintaining our internal planning tool WayRTS, which is used for pre-scheduling deliveries and coordinating with the logistics department, as well as updating planned delivery times and relevant master data in our systems. You also support the maintenance of our group-wide evaluation tools for price increases and savings and ensure that key performance indicators and information are reliably available.
Supplier Management:
You prepare supplier evaluations and assist in obtaining important documents such as non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), certificates of origin, machinery directives, and ESG-relevant information. Furthermore, you monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery performance and on-time delivery, and actively support the process of sending payment reminders and communicating with our suppliers.
Daily operations and process support:
You are an important part of our purchasing team and actively contribute to daily collaboration. You independently investigate issues, identify inconsistencies, and highlight deviations. At the same time, you question existing procedures and contribute ideas for improving our processes.
