JOB DESCRIPTION:

On a Roll Sandwich Company are recruiting for a full time Purchasing Administrator. You will be working within the Office & Goods-in area, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. Responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and investigative support across all aspects of inventory management and the order fulfilment process. This includes maintaining accurate inventory records and performing a range of clerical and administrative duties. The role requires flexibility to work between office settings and temperature-controlled environments, including chilled, ambient, and freezer areas.
This is a permanent position. Working hours are 08:30 till 17:00. Salary is negotiable dependent on experience.

KEY SKILLS:

· Experience or understanding of purchasing, procurement, or stock control is highly desirable
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
· Good maths and English skills
· Strong IT skills (email, inventory systems, spreadsheets)

Responsibilities

· Processing of order acknowledgments, delivery notes & purchase orders
· Maintaining purchase order and shortage reports
· Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies – reportable to management teams.
· Maintaining accurate supplier records
· Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely fulfilment of orders
· Monitor and track deliveries, flagging issues or delays
· Assisting with stock takes and reconciliation of stock
· Generating and maintaining departmental spreadsheets
· Provide administrative support to the wider operations or supply team as needed
