Description

VJ Technology are looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join our Purchasing team on a part time, temporary basis - 6 month fixed term contract.
20 - 25 hours per week Monday - Friday.
Salary between 13,371.50 - £16,714.38
The overall purpose of the role is to work within the Purchasing department, supporting all areas of the Supply Chain.

SKILLS YOU HAVE

· Possess an understanding and be a confident user of software packages such as Microsoft Office with ability to learn procurement systems
· Administration skills & customer focused
· Previous experience working within a busy and fast paced environment
· Confident telephone manner and excellent verbal communication skills
. Excellent attention to detail
. Experience within a procurement team would be desirable
. Problem solving skills

Responsibilities

· Providing Procurement Customer Service support
· Daily management of enquires through the purchasing helpdesk
· Order batch management
· Requesting Proof of Delivery (POD) and Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) information from suppliers
· Daily order processing and purchase order management
· Working closely with Sales and Operations Teams daily
· Investigations and problem solving of potential delivery discrepancies
· Communicating professionally between all stakeholders daily
· Understanding personal and departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and goals
· Developing supplier relationships
· Ability to interchange between different functions within procurement when support and/or training is required
· Any other task and/or project as reasonably requested.
