Position Summary The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for supporting the sales team and customers by placing, tracking and fulfilling purchase orders. The successful candidate will have experience and a proven history supporting IT sales. She/he will be responsible for meeting and/or exceeding individual performance objectives as established by your manager. This job description is not all-inclusive. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service to our clients Resolve issues regarding returns, shipping discrepancies, order, and invoicing discrepancies Support and back-up other purchasing agents in their absence and/or work volume Provide accurate order entry, paying close diligence in emails, orders, and vendor quotes Respond to customers/vendors/account executives in timely fashion with a sense of urgency Ensure that the CRM is accurate and up to date Demonstrate strong people and business leadership skills Minimum Qualifications College Degree preferred or equivalent in related field is preferred Must have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of IT business experience Detail oriented, with strong data entry, account, and time management skills Experience with procurement processes Learn and understand company's sales tools and processes Initiative-taking with the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment Prior experience with CRM systems such as NetSuite or Salesforce a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong customer presentation skills Team player To Help You Succeed $55K with bonus plan Full service and support team Comprehensive benefits, including Health/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance, and a 401(k) Paid days off and paid holidays Sales, service, and product training Professional sales environment with opportunities for advancement based on performance Located in Naperville IL or Long Island NY
