THE OPPORTUNITY: BVGlazing Systems currently has an opportunity for a Purchaser with a strong background in manufacturing. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the successful candidate will help manage the supply chain to maintain inventory levels for production and strategic relationships with key suppliers.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Prepare purchase orders by verifying specifications, price and production demand
• Forward orders to suppliers, review confirmations to ensure accuracy
• Monitor order status and adjust when necessary to ensure production schedule is supported
• Verify accuracy of goods received to items ordered; resolve errors with suppliers
• Maintain positive relations with suppliers and internal associates while always acting with professional ethics
• Frequent and operational inter-office communication with Purchasing, Engineering and Production departments
• Other tasks as may be assigned
