    The purpose of the Procurement Team Lead role is to ensure the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of all necessary materials and supplies required for dairy production
    This role reports to the Supply Chain Manager


    • Create purchase orders for stock and services in accordance with company policies.

    • Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery schedules and resolve discrepancies
    • Assist in maintaining an updated supplier list
    • Track inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse staff to replenish stock.
    • Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing.
    • Manage the creation of vendor accounts in collaboration with Accounts Payable
    • Maintain product codes and costs in SAP
    • Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships
    • Update internal stakeholders with supplier information including product ranges, delivery updates etc
    • Support procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals
    • Assist with reporting requirements.
    • Assist with contract administration
    • Liaise with suppliers & transport providers for all incoming shipments
    • Perform any other reasonable duties as needed by the business

    EXPERIENCE

    • Two (2) years’ experience as a purchasing/ material co-ordinator or a similar field
    • SAP / S4 Hana experience will be an advantage

    SKILLS

    • Highly analytical, a strong attention to detail with good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience in a procurement role, with a willingness to engage in other responsibilities when needed.
