JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Assistant to support our procurement operations in the Food & Beverage industry. The ideal candidate will assist in sourcing, purchasing, and tracking inventory of food items, packaging, kitchen equipment, and other F&B-related supplies while ensuring quality, price competitiveness, and timely delivery.

• Assist the Purchasing Manager in procuring food products, beverages, kitchen tools, and consumables in line with inventory levels and business requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate deals.
• Create and process purchase orders (POs) accurately and ensure proper documentation.
• Track order status and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely receipt and avoid stockouts.
• Maintain and update supplier databases and product catalogs.
• Coordinate with the receiving team and warehouse to ensure accurate and quality deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels and provide updates to the procurement team for timely reorders.
• Assist in resolving any order discrepancies, such as shortages, damaged goods, or incorrect deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality control, and company purchasing policies.
• Support monthly inventory audits and stock reconciliations.
