Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our Procurement team. This is a specialized entry-level role reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, and it is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain operations within the dietary supplement industry.
The role will focus on ordering and managing packaging materials, including boxes, bottles, and labels. The individual will interact regularly with internal teams such as R&D, Production, and Quality Control to ensure projects are on track. They will also work with both preferred and potential vendors to support the purchasing process. Over time, the role will expand to include supplier negotiation and deeper procurement responsibilities.

Key day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and organizing project documents and purchase records
  • Tracking open purchase orders (POs) and following up on shipments
  • Coordinating timelines with internal teams and vendors
  • Acting as a liaison between the Procurement Manager, internal teams, and vendors
  • Learning procurement best practices and developing vendor relationships
