AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY HAS ARISEN FOR A PURCHASING EXECUTIVE TO JOIN OUR OPERATIONS TEAM.

As Purchasing Executive you will support the procurement function by sourcing competitive quotes and managing purchase orders, with a strong focus on achieving cost savings and improving purchasing efficiency.

YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES:

  • Previous experience in logistics and purchasing from suppliers is essential for this role
  • Friendly disposition, personable and enjoys working in a team environment
  • Excellent and Positive communication skills needed
  • Ability to perform without supervision; must be able to be trusted
  • High level of adaptability and willingness to perform given tasks
  • Attention to detail must be good
  • You will be a key fit with the 5 Kinley values – Alignment, Trust, Humble, Hungry and Smart
    Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 1:30pm.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for project purchasing with key suppliers (timber, powder coating etc)
  • Focussed on getting the best prices with key suppliers for projects
  • Managing those suppliers to ensure they are delivering OTIF on a daily/weekly basis
  • Assisting the Operations team with managing supplier quality and relationships
  • Working with the Projects team to update them on the status of all live project purchases
  • Ensure the project management system and stock system is kept updated
  • Working with the project management team to orchestrate all project logistics
  • Organising/assisting all transport purchases and deliveries for projects
  • Keeping the supplier forecast up to date and discussing as a team about any possible changes to the priority
  • Answering incoming calls quickly
  • Assisting the Operations team in updating the approved suppliers list
