PVS Structures is looking for a professional, proactive Purchasing Assistant to coordinate materials, vendors, and systems that keep our operation moving forward.
This is a hands-on position that blends office responsibilities with time on the shop floor, helping ensure materials are where they need to be—on time, every time.

Responsibilities
  • Enter and edit outside processing purchase orders and inventory in our ERP system
  • Accurately type and format memos, reports, and business communications
  • Support the Purchasing Manager and First Step Processing Foreman to manage and maintain accurate inventory levels
  • Coordinate raw material shipments to and from outside processors, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Work closely with the Plant Manager and Project Management teams on material flow and planning
  • Update ERP system functions and parameters regularly to ensure smooth system performance
  • Assist with purchasing tasks and take over purchasing responsibilities in the manager’s absence
  • Communicate with vendors on pricing, purchase orders, and material delivery schedules
  • Complete all assigned tasks with accuracy and professionalism
