Description
We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant (Contract Role) to support the procurement and service operations team, with a strong focus on purchase order (PO) processing, documentation, and coordination. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling administrative tasks in a structured, fast-paced environment. Employment Type: Contract role (5 months) with potential for extension based on performance and business needs. Location: On-site – Mapletree Business City (Nearest MRT: Labrador Park, SG) Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM Responsibilities Assist in creating, processing, and tracking purchase orders (POs). Ensure all PO documentation is accurate, complete, and properly filed. Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to follow up on PO status and delivery timelines. Perform data entry and maintain accurate procurement and service records. Support the preparation of reports and documentation related to purchasing and service operations. Handle basic vendor or internal queries related to orders and documentation. Maintain organized filing systems for procurement records and service reports. Provide general administrative support to the procurement and service teams. Requirements At least 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative roles. Exposure to or experience with purchase order (PO) processing is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Good communication skills in written and spoken English. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on timelines.
