JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support the procurement process by managing supplier relationships, processing purchase orders, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods. This role is essential in maintaining an efficient supply chain and requires strong negotiation skills and familiarity with various purchasing systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a purchasing or supply chain role is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using purchasing systems such as SAP, AS400, Oracle EBS, or Edwards.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with logistics processes and supply chain management is preferred.
