Job Type On site Job Summary We are looking for a buyer for a period of six months for maternity leave, who will be responsible for Raw material purchasing for our production line. Essential Functions Responsible for the daily sourcing, purchasing, and follow-up activities related to production materials, services, and expenses from outside suppliers. Negotiating prices, business terms, and schedule to meet the company's business needs. Manage timely deliveries of materials to support the production and sales plan. Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications. Leading cost reduction initiatives, developing cost-effective procurement. Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, and relevant internal departments in the organization. Required/Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or similar preferred At least 3+ years of experience in procurement. Purchasing Management course or similar preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proven experience in multidisciplinary purchasing – a must. Experience from a manufacturing and design company in the medical device industry – an advantage. Computer knowledge: • ERP and Microsoft office Capabilities: • Detailed oriented, good teamwork Personal capabilities: Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Well organized, highly motivated, and independent. Team player and collaborator.
