We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Coordinator to support our fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll play a key part in purchasing orders, ensuring materials and outside services are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and align with production needs. Requirements What You’ll Do: Place and manage purchase orders for outside service vendors and materials Build and maintain strong day-to-day relationships with vendors Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, and Quality teams Monitor material flow and communicate priorities to meet production goals Support quality processes, including handling defective material and non-conforming inventory Maintain accurate data and processes within the ERP system Track and support key metrics such as on-time delivery, past-due POs, and inventory levels Help evaluate supplier capacity and performance to meet demand What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing Experience with ERP systems (Epicor a plus) Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and a customer-service mindset Proficiency in Microsoft Office Nice to Have: Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment Familiarity with quality systems (ISO, AS9100, ISO13485) Background in scheduling, inventory control, or supply chain planning Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors related to the specific position.
