Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with project, engineering, and estimation teams to understand project requirements and ensure timely procurement and delivery to project sites.
  • Obtain and review quotations from suppliers, prepare comparison sheets (usually 3 quotes) and submit recommendations for management approval.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure advantageous terms (cost, quality, delivery timeline).
  • Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and company policies regarding all procurement activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and documents in ERP or procurement software systems.
  • Build and nurture relationships with local and international suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Monitor material delivery schedules, track orders, and ensure all materials reach project sites on time.
  • Coordinate logistics with warehouse staff for proper storage and delivery to site as required.
  • Support cost control by seeking value engineering, bulk purchasing, and identifying opportunities for savings.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Good organizational, time management, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
  • Qualifications
  • Experience in Purchase Orders and Purchasing
  • Should have minimum 4 years of UAE experience
  • Experience in Roads & Infrastructure is must in Gulf.
  • Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and Procurement
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience in the construction industry is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
    Job Type: Contract
    Contract length: 24 months
    Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
