Dependable Truck & Tank Limited was founded in 1975 and is, as it was, a family-owned and operated business. Our innovative design and engineering concepts allow us to manufacture highway tankers, trailers, and emergency vehicles to our clients specifications. Along with our manufacturing capabilities, Dependable is a large supplier of petroleum equipment for both the carrier and contractor industries in both commercial and residential installs.
Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. This role will focus on sourcing, ordering, and managing inventory for truck parts and related equipment to ensure minimal downtime for our fleet. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, knowledge of truck parts, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in purchasing or parts management, preferably in the transportation or trucking industry.
  • Knowledge of truck parts, brands, and suppliers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
