SUMMARY OF THE ROLE As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will execute and support operational purchasing tasks as delegated in line with Group Purchasing policies, principles, guidelines, and procedures for Raw Material, Purchased Finished Goods, and Direct Packaging Material in close cooperation with local stakeholders and Group Purchasing, enabling the company to achieve the desired delivery service to the customers. This position will be based in Jeddah and report to the Purchasing Manager. Responsibilities: Assist in local purchasing tasks, align with internal stakeholders as relevant, identify and plan the requirements for designated indirect material categories based on close dialogue with relevant user departments for low-value indirect material Spend. Source suppliers for designated indirect material categories in close cooperation with purchasing colleagues and relevant user departments, and support user departments in ensuring optimal indirect material specifications are in place. Place and follow up orders in Matrix based on agreements/contracts when relevant, initiate indirect material IFS System support, and follow up on relevant tasks, as well as cleanup of the Indirect Materials IFS Data. Assist in evaluating optimal logistics solutions to support a cost-effective flow of goods to and from the site, assist in Supplier Audits and relevant reporting, and be responsible for maintaining and updating the Contracts SharePoint. Assist and support in tasks related to customs procedures and regulations, follow up and report on agreed KPIs, and manage defined indirect material categories on delegation. Responsibilities
The Purchasing Coordinator will assist in local purchasing tasks and source suppliers for designated indirect material categories. They will also place and follow up on orders, evaluate logistics solutions, and maintain contracts.
