Our team is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to support the Strategic Sourcing process with data management, reporting, and contract administration. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent mix of education and experience) and 2+ years in a role involving tracking and reporting data or data analysis experience
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally with finance, operations, and suppliers
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Cognos or SAP helpful

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The base salary range for this position is $18.90 - $33.00 per hour. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to educations, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s or equivalent or combination of education and experience
Years of Related Experience: 1-3 years related experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Advanced PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Cognos, SAP, etc., solid communication and interpersonal skills as well as analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare vendor scorecards, complaint graphs, and purchase history for supplier reviews
  • Manage and monitor contract record retention—organizing, auditing, and ensuring compliance with requirements
  • Collect and share supplier/product details to support successful new product launches
  • Generate pricing, gross margin, and performance reports for leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Maintain contract data in enterprise systems, including product contracts, volume commitments, and pricing
  • Partner with suppliers and plant locations to resolve invoice discrepancies and monitor inventory levels
  • Facilitate the approval process for vendor contracts while keeping files accurate and up-to-date
  • Compile data for forecasting, cost savings tracking, and annual budgeting processes
  • Build organized reports and presentations for leadership that help drive decision-making
  • Establish initial confidentiality agreements and find vendor contact information
