Your tasks:

In this position, you will be responsible for procuring goods and components according to demand. You will oversee the purchasing process from supplier selection and ordering to on-time delivery.

  • You plan and manage the operational procurement of goods and components from manufacturers (ag) and suppliers (ag) both domestically and internationally.
  • You obtain quotes, compare terms and conditions and conduct price and contract negotiations with national and international suppliers (ag)
  • You monitor ongoing orders, delivery dates and order confirmations, and initiate appropriate measures at an early stage in case of deviations.
  • As part of sourcing, you research and procure special products according to individual customer requirements (ag)
  • You coordinate the entire import process and are responsible for selecting, commissioning and coordinating with freight forwarders (ag) and other logistics partners (ag).
  • You carefully maintain article, supplier, price and delivery data (ag) in the ERP system and ensure an up-to-date and reliable database.
  • As an interface between suppliers (ag), logistics, sales and other internal departments, you ensure a smooth flow of information.

✅ What you bring to the table

  • completed commercial or technical vocational training
  • Professional experience in purchasing, ideally in operational or international purchasing.
  • Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of another foreign language, such as French, Italian or Chinese, is advantageous.
  • Ideally, experience with an ERP system.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and convincing communication skills
  • Independent action, commitment and a quick grasp of concepts
  • The ability to maintain an overview even when multiple procurement processes are running in parallel.
  • Interest in technical products and no fear of handling electromechanical components
