WHAT YOU BRING

We’re seeking someone who is proactive, organized, and well-versed in the language of construction. Ideal candidates will have:

  • 2+ years of experience in residential or commercial construction, and 1+ year in estimating or purchasing
  • A solid understanding of construction methods, terminology, and budgeting
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
  • Experience performing material takeoffs and developing scopes of work
  • Comfort using Microsoft Excel, email, and project management tools (e.g., CoConstruct or similar)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with vendors, trades, and internal stakeholders
  • Integrity, sound judgment, and professionalism in representing Sineath’s values

Responsibilities

You’ll work closely with project managers, clients, vendors, and field staff to ensure each job is accurately scoped, budgeted, and ready for seamless execution. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing detailed and accurate estimates for custom homes, renovations, and light commercial projects
  • Meeting with clients and subcontractors to clarify the scope and gather pricing
  • Managing project purchasing: issuing POs, ordering materials, and coordinating delivery timelines
  • Collaborating with the P&E Manager and the selections team to maintain up-to-date budgets
  • Communicating key information to the field team before they need it
  • Scheduling site visits with vendors and subs to ensure scope accuracy-especially for renovations
  • Reading blueprints, performing takeoffs, and solving design or constructability questions early in the process
  • Keeping stakeholders aligned through clear documentation and budget updates
