Job Description & Requirements
As a Purchasing Executive, you will be responsible in performing all the required purchasing functions as stated below. You are also to ensure that the processes and procedures are compliance with Company’s standard and requirements.

REQUIREMENTS :

1) Minimum Diploma in in Building / Purchasing or equivalent.
2) Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in purchasing handling, sourcing, contract management, vendor relationships in a precast concrete / construction industry.
3) Experience in ERP system for purchasing purposes.
4) Possess good negotiation skill, excellent problem definition / analytical and problem-solving skills.
5) Proficient in MS Office.
6) Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as customer relation skills.
7) Able to adopt and work independently in a fast-pace environment.
8) A team player with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize tasks

Responsibilities

1) Resourceful and efficient in sourcing products for the business including price negotiation and order fulfilment.
2) End-to-end purchase orders execution and timely renewal of contracts (services, maintenances, supply rates contracts, etc.).
3) Manage suppliers’ relationships and conduct periodic business reviews.
4) Maintain up-to-date vendor purchase rates.
5) Communicate with freight forwarders and suppliers for scheduled supply and preparation of import and export documentation if necessary.
6) Prepare technical specifications / drawings for soliciting bids / proposals from qualified vendors.
7) Ensure all information are updated in the system.
8) Monitor and expedite delivery according to production schedule.
9) Ensure suppliers deliver according to drawings and specification.
10) Project administration and documentation include preparation of interim valuations, pricing and agreement of contract variations.
11) Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management and the designated Manager.
