Key ResponsibilitiesSupport day-to-day procurement activities across a wide supplier baseRaise and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely deliverySource new suppliers and obtain quotations in line with business requirementsNegotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with suppliersMonitor supplier performance and address any delivery or quality issuesWork closely with engineering, production, and planning teams to support operational requirementsMaintain accurate records within ERP systemsAssist with stock control and inventory management where requiredEnsure compliance with company procedures and procurement processesSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function

The CandidatePrevious experience within a purchasing/procurement role in a manufacturing or engineering environmentStrong communication skills and confidence in liaising with suppliersGood understanding of supply chain processes and procurement best practicesAbility to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlinesComfortable working with ERP systems and ExcelProactive, organised, and a strong team playerAttention to detail with a commercial mindset
