The Purchasing Intern will support day-to-day procurement operations by maintaining accurate order confirmations in SAP and assisting in shortage resolution. This role will help reduce transactional workload on buyers and improve data accuracy across purchasing activities. Key Responsibilities Send shortage / missing parts reports to suppliers and coordinate follow-ups with Planning and Purchasing Monitor and follow up on past-due purchase orders Update SAP with confirmed ship and delivery dates Track supplier responses and escalate non-responsive or high-risk suppliers Pull and analyze HYDAC Germany component demand, and support buyers in identifying and transitioning to domestic sourcing options Requirements Ideal students will be: Pursuing Supply Chain degree Have in interest in hydraulics and/or fluid power This position will be located at our Schaumburg division. Responsibilities
