Job Description As Purchasing Manager, you'll drive procurement excellence in support of the hotel’s pre-opening and early operational phase. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you'll: Develop and implement strategic purchasing processes aligned with Avani+ brand standards and local market dynamics. Source, negotiate, and secure best-value contracts for goods and services—covering F&B, hospitality amenities, O&M supplies, and CAPEX items. Build and maintain relationships with global and local suppliers to ensure supply chain reliability and cost efficiency. Monitor supplier performance, lead risk mitigation efforts, and manage vendor audits. Partner with internal stakeholders (F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering, Spa) to forecast demand, control inventory, and minimize waste. Lead supplier selection, RFx processes, purchase order issuance, and invoice reconciliation. Ensure all procurement activities follow hotel policies, legal requirements, quality standards, and ethical sourcing practices. Qualifications Degree in Supply Chain/Business/Hotel Management or relevant field. 5+ years’ procurement experience in hospitality, ideally involving hotel openings or multi-departmental sourcing. Strong negotiation, analytic, and financial monitoring capabilities. Proficiency with procurement systems and ERP or PMS platforms. Excellent interpersonal and vendor management skills.
