OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Purchasing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that our purchasing strategies align with the company’s operational goals. You will play a critical role in optimizing inventory management, sourcing materials, and negotiating contracts to support our manufacturing and supply chain operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement management, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle EBS is a must.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract negotiations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data for decision-making purposes.
  • Experience in vendor management and supplier relationship development.
  • Knowledge of logistics, inventory control, and manufacturing processes is advantageous.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, manufacturing, and finance to align purchasing activities with business needs.
  • Utilize ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle EBS for procurement management and reporting.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Manage contracts related to procurement activities, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in supply chain processes.
