OVERVIEW

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of materials management within the organization. The main role is to ensure the efficient flow of materials from raw materials to finished products, maintaining appropriate inventory levels to support continuous and efficient production. This position involves cost control, supplier management, inventory optimization, and implementing processes to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.

EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, or warehouse operations, preferably in manufacturing, retail, or distribution.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills for data interpretation and decision-making.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in inventory record-keeping.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
