An opportunity has arisen for a Purchasing and Stock Manager to join a family owned engineering business based in Coventry. Burnsall Engineering was established in 1954 and is a family owned business that specialises in high quality precision manufacturing for the automotive/aerospace sectors and mould tool making for the rubber and plastic industries.

Responsibilities
  • Gathering quotes for materials used on engineering projects.
  • Ordering of materials.
  • Tracking the delivery and receipt of materials.
  • Maintaining and identifying material stock.
  • Arrange delivery for completed projects.
  • Record all materials and consumables used on each project on in-house database.
  • Use of forklift truck (training will be given).
  • Use of laser engraver for marking of completed projects (training will be given).
  • Use of saw to create billets from bar material.
  • Very occasionally carry out simple CNC operations to assist production where work load allows. CNC machines will be set by a senior staff member so little to no previous experience is required (training will be given). This is not essential to the role and historically has only been done when normal daily duties are light.
