Responsibilities
  • Raising and managing all purchase orders for stock and materials
  • Monitoring inventory levels and reordering to meet demand
  • Liaising with UK and overseas suppliers on lead times, availability, pricing, and delivery schedules
  • Managing supplier relationships, including performance reviews and contract negotiations
  • Handling supplier negotiations on pricing, MOQs, and delivery terms
  • Supporting the Managing Director with data and insights for strategic supplier discussions
  • Tracking and managing inbound shipments and working with logistics providers and customs brokers
  • Maintaining accurate procurement records and updating ERP/stock management systems
  • Resolving supply issues, delays, and order/invoicing discrepancies
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures and import regulations
  • Collaborating with finance to manage budgets, cost control, and payment terms
  • Identifying cost reduction and operational improvement opportunities
  • Defining and upholding quality standards in partnership with Commercial and Operations teams
  • Overseeing the product lifecycle, including SKU setup and discontinuations
  • Leading and mentoring the Purchasing team to deliver efficient procurement processes
  • Managing departmental budgets in collaboration with the Managing Director
  • Driving continuous improvement across people, systems, and workflows
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management for the procurement team
