Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Purchasing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing our procurement processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. You will also be responsible for optimizing our inventory control and purchasing efficiency through the use of the ServiceTitan inventory, purchasing, and pricebook modules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in using ServiceTitan inventory, purchasing, and pricebook modules.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • ServiceTitan Management:
  • Oversee and manage the ServiceTitan inventory, purchasing, and pricebook modules to ensure accurate tracking of inventory levels, pricing, and procurement processes.
  • Ensure the system is updated with current pricing, product information, and supplier details.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking, ensuring optimal inventory turnover.

MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and manage the purchasing team, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supplier Relationship Management:
  • Develop and maintain a robust supplier base, ensuring a diverse and reliable supply chain.
  • Identify and onboard new suppliers to meet the organization’s evolving needs.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Continuously review and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Implement best practices in procurement and inventory management.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and supplier reliability.
  • Develop contingency plans to ensure continuity of supply.
