Description
DRS RADA is a global pioneer of RADAR systems for active military protection, counter-drone applications, critical infrastructure protection and border surveillance. We are looking for Purchasing Manager. Job Description: Manage the tactical procurement team (order approvals, measure OTD, deliveries, returns). Oversee and control material arrivals and shortages in alignment with production work plans. Manage order confirmations track expected arrivals. Manage subcontractors in the mechanic’s field. Oversee materials for OBS (Obsolete) and EOL (End-of-Life) activities, ensuring smooth transitions. Implement and execute MRP recommendations for material postponement or advancement. Establish and develop advanced work methods. Reports to the Supply Chain Manager. Requirements Requirements: Relevant degree in Economics or Industrial Engineering and Management or matching experiance. At least 5 years of experience working with suppliers and subcontractors. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in an manufacturing organization. Significant advantage for experience from defense companies. Experience working with Priority – an advantage. High-level English – mandatory. Ability to work in a team, proactiveness and "can do approach”. Good communication skills and negotiation abilities.
