REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar procurement leadership role
  • Strong negotiation skills with a strategic and analytical mindset
  • Excellent knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes
  • Familiarity with facilities management or construction-related procurement is desirable
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving all procurement and supply chain operations. You’ll ensure that materials, equipment, and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with quality standards and compliance requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement a group-wide purchasing strategy that supports business growth and operational needs
  • Manage supplier relationships, including negotiating contracts, SLAs, and pricing agreements
  • Monitor inventory levels and delivery schedules to ensure operational continuity
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or compliance
  • Collaborate with operational teams and project managers to understand their procurement needs
  • Maintain procurement records and ensure documentation is compliant and audit-ready
  • Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular reviews
  • Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies and ethical standards
