FINANCE OFFICE Purchasing Manager (25260255) The appointee is expected to perform daily procurement duties including but not limited to the followings: Responsibilities: Assist the Senior Purchasing Manager in the management of the procurement function; Ensure proper internal control and governance of the procurement function; Conduct procurement analyses and compile management reports; and Liaise with internal departments and suppliers for implementing cost-effective purchasing initiatives or special projects. Requirements: A recognised bachelor’s degree or above with at least 8 years relevant working experience of which five years in supervisory role is essential; Proven experience in a sizeable procurement organisation is a must, and prior engagement in the IT sector with related technical products and services is preferred; Professional qualification in procurement or supply chain management is a definite advantage; Possess a can-do attitude, pleasant personality, impeccable integrity, excellent communication and problem-solving skills; Be well-organised, proactive and service-oriented; and Able to work both independently and as a good team player. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
