SUMMARY OF THE ROLE We are looking for a dynamic Purchasing Manager to drive end-to-end procurement excellence across local and international categories. In this role, you will lead high-performing Purchasing and Material Requirement Planning teams, ensuring seamless demand planning, supply continuity, and optimized inventory levels. You will collaborate cross-functionally and globally to secure competitive agreements, strengthen supplier partnerships, and deliver cost-effective, compliant logistics solutions. This position is based in our factory at 10th of Ramadan City, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. Responsibilities: Lead and develop the Egypt Purchasing and Material Requirement Planning teams by coaching and guiding members in line with leadership expectations, ensuring accurate demand planning, effective translation of requirements into purchase orders, supply continuity, and controlled inventory levels within defined targets. Oversee the execution of local and international purchasing activities for assigned categories, ensuring timely order placement, shipment follow-up, and coordination of import customs clearance in alignment with category strategies. Ensure strong cross-functional coordination and optimal planning of raw materials/purchased finished goods/direct packaging materials, making sure all materials are ordered in line with agreed price frameworks, Group Purchasing category manager allocations, and business requirements. Secure competitive price agreements when delegated by the Group Purchasing category team, while supporting supplier identification, maintaining supplier relationships, participating in audits and meetings, and ensuring continuous follow-up on supplier performance, shortages, and non-conformances. Evaluate and implement optimal logistics solutions by considering packaging types and sizes, lot sizes, distributors, transport methods, customs regulations, and local laws, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and operational purchasing principles. Manage Indirect Materials spend in close cooperation with Group Purchasing and internal stakeholders, ensure proper use of Matrix, delegate low-value purchases where appropriate, follow up and report on agreed KPIs, and ensure timely, accurate, and compliant supplier invoice processing.
